    So far very economical. Very roomy. Plenty of speed and pick up for 1400 cc engine due to the turbo I expect.

    My purchase was for my 2 kids that are both under 4 years of age, safety and reliability are the main factors as it's mostly driven by my wife. The VWs are known for their comfort and driving power as I've owned a number of golf's from around 20 000kms and sold them after 300 000kms without any major failures. The Tiguan is spacious enough for a normal family of 4, 1.4tsi engine is enough power to provide a comfortable and efficient travel and the fuel economy is quite good as well.

    Highly recommended, I've been in the automotive industry 40 years, they are very well made, excellent handling, quiet inside, good visability and plenty of storage, and blue tooth phone system is great and easy to use.

    Very sturdy vehicle to drive and it feels like it grips the road. It is a compact SUV yet deceivingly spacious which is great. The heated seats are just amazing, especially on cold, frosty mornings.

    Extremely fuel efficent as has more than enough power for what I use it for. Also handles really well especially on back gravel roads that can be rather ruff.
